Regulatory Jobs

Cookies Policy

Analytics cookies before you say yes: zero.

We ask first. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and PostHog load only if you allow them, and declining leaves the site working exactly the same. Every cookie and storage entry Regulatory Jobs can set is named below, with who sets it, why, and for how long.

Before you choose

No analytics or advertising cookies, and no requests to Google Analytics, Microsoft or PostHog, until you allow analytics.

10

If you allow analytics

Ten cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, every one named below. PostHog sets none.

2

Choice cookies

Two small cookies remember your answer so we don’t ask on every page. They identify nothing about you.

Signing in sets the essential session cookies listed below; they are never used for analytics or advertising.

01What this policy covers

This policy covers regulatoryjobs.com, operated by Regulatory Leadership Partners LLC. It lists every cookie and browser-storage entry the site can set, the choice that governs them, and how to change it. It supplements our Privacy Policy and forms part of our Terms of Use.

02What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can recognize you later: to keep you signed in, remember a choice, measure traffic, or follow you across sites for advertising. Similar techniques such as localStorage and sessionStorage do the same job by other means, and privacy law treats them the same way, so the inventory below lists them too.

03Before you choose

Until you answer the cookie banner, Regulatory Jobs sets no analytics or advertising cookies and sends nothing to Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Bing or PostHog. Our fonts are served from our own domain.

What does run from the start is what the site needs to work: Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site; error reporting to Sentry, which sets no cookies; and, on company pages, an embedded Google map, which your browser loads from Google.

04The complete inventory

Measured on the live site on October 12, 2026. “First-party” means set on regulatoryjobs.com; “third-party” means set on the provider’s own domain.

Google processes Analytics data on our behalf, with Google signals and ad personalization switched off and every Consent Mode advertising flag denied. Our Google Tag Manager container loads only with the same consent.

05Microsoft’s cookies, plainly

Clarity is different from the other tools, and we would rather say so than leave you to find it. Microsoft documents three of the cookies Clarity brings, MUID, SRM_B and ANONCHK, as serving Microsoft’s advertising and cross-site identity purposes, and running Clarity gives us no setting that switches that off. We tell Clarity that advertising storage is denied, we run no advertising, and none of these cookies exists unless you allow analytics. If that trade is not one you want, decline: the site works exactly the same.

06Change your mind

Your choice is yours to revise, in either direction, at any time. This panel shows your current setting and changes it immediately; so does Cookie Settings in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent deletes the first-party Google Analytics and Clarity cookies, tells Clarity consent is withdrawn, and reloads the page so no analytics script keeps running. Cookies on Microsoft’s own domains stop being used, but a page on our domain cannot delete them; your browser settings can.

07Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we treat it as a declined banner: you are not asked, and no analytics tool loads. The only exception is your own explicit choice: if you allow analytics with the panel above, that choice stands until you change it.

08Verify it yourself

In Chrome or Edge, open Developer Tools, choose the Application tab and expand Cookies and Local storage. Before you answer the banner, you will find no analytics cookies. Decline, and only the two choice cookies appear. Allow analytics, and the cookies listed above appear on regulatoryjobs.com, clarity.ms and bing.com. The Network tab shows the same: nothing goes to google-analytics.com, googletagmanager.com, clarity.ms, bing.com or posthog.com until you allow it.

If you ever find more than we disclose here, tell us, and we will correct it and record the correction below.

09Changes and revision history

If we add a cookie, it is listed here by name, purpose and lifetime before it ships, with consent requested wherever the law requires it. The effective date above always shows the current version. We keep the history in the open, including our own mistakes:

  1. First published. Before this date, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity loaded on every page before a visitor chose, and the banner’s “Reject all” did not stop them; the analytics switch in its settings was also on by default. From this date nothing loads without an opt-in, Global Privacy Control is honored, and earlier choices are asked again.
